About Trip -

Nubri valley  lies in the northern part of historical  Gorkha district and the valley consists of Bihi, Prok, Lho and Sama Village Development Committees. Majority of the population here is comprises of ethnic Bhote Lama who have their own culture and religion. 

In Lower Nubri, and in Upper Nubri there is snow mountain called Pungnyen. These are amazing sites—the Terma mentions the glacier Tashi Palsang, and it is said that there are resources here that are beneficial for the entire world. Mount Pungnyn in Upper Nubri, as the Buddha said in the scriptures, is no different from Mount Kailash. In this small area we have wonderful glaciers, mountains, lakes, and fields, as well many wonderful sites.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu international airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition.Then Transfer to hotel.

Day 02:After breakfast proceed for city singseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu.Make a permit and basic preparation of the trek.Visit Pink Mountain's office for details information and introduction with your trekking guide to Tsum and Nubri valley Trek.

Day 03:Drive to Gorkha(1200m) Driving 5 to 6 hours

Day 04:Trek to Aarughat(570m) via Ghyampesal (1100 m)

Day 05:Trek to Lapu Besi (880m)

Day 06:Trek to Khorl Besi (970m.)

Day 07:Trek to Jagat (1410 m)

Day 08:Trek to Dyang (1800m)

Day 09:Trek to Prook Village(2050m) or Trek to Serang(3100m).

Day 10:Trek to Kaltal (3600m) and come back to Prook Village or visit Serang Area.

Day 11:Trek to Namrung (2660m)

Day 12:Trek to Shyala (3500 m)

Day 13:Trek to Pungnyen( Nubri Valley)

Day 14:Visit Pungnyen ( 4700 m)

Day 15:Trek to Sama (3503 m)

Day 16:Visit Birendratal and Trek to Samdo (3738m)

Day 17:Trek to Dharamashala( 4470)

Day 18:Trek to Larke la (5106 m) down to Bhimtang (3930m)

Day 19:Trek to Tilche (2300m)

Day 20:Trek to Jagat (1300m)

Day 21:Trek to Bulbule (840 m)

Day 22:Drive to Besishahar and Kathmandu.
