Bokta Peak climbing is rarely climbing trekking peak in Kanchenjunga region. The Bokta Peak climbing permit has started to issue from 2002. Bokta Peak climbing with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition is good for experience seasoned mountaineers who are searching for an adventure and challenging peak climbing in Nepal.Bokta Peak Climbing is kind of warm up climbing for more then 8000m altitude Mountain Expedition seeker.

Bokta Peak base camp journeys trekking viewing beautiful landscape through lush valleys with wild animals. On the way of trekking, get a warm hospitality from local highlander with their Tibetan traditional culture. There are two mountain trekking path to reach at Bokta Peak base camp – either trek to both Kanchenjunga north base camp (Pangpema) and then to south base camp (Oktang) or just only Kanchenjunga south base camp –Oktang to climb Bokta peak.

The summit of Bokta peak offers all the fantastic Himalayan views of Kanchenjunga range including the third highest mountain in the world, the entire Kangchenjunga massif (8586 m), Kumbhakarna / Jannu (7710 m), Dhormo Peak (6850 m), Nupchu (6690 m) and many others.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour.

Day 03:Kathmandu -Basantpur

Day 04:Basantpur to Chauki (2700m)

Day 05:Chauki to Gupha Pokhari (2930 m)

Day 06:Trek to Dovan (730 m)

Day 07:Dovan to Mitlung (921 m)

Day 08:Mitlung to Tapethok (1290 meters)

Day 09:Tapethok to Amjilosa (2490 m)

Day 10:Amjilosa to Gyabla (2730 m)

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour. After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit to Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu durbar square tour.

Day 3Kathmandu -Basantpur Fly to Biratnagar (100 m) and drive to Basantpur (2200 m) by Jeep. Overnight stays there.

Day 4Basantpur to Chauki (2700m) 6 hours walk/trek to Chauki.

Day 5Chauki to Gupha Pokhari (2930 m) Trek 5/6 hours on wonderful mountain terrain to Gupha Pokhari.

Day 6Trek to Dovan (730 m) A long day walk takes 9 hours.

Day 7Dovan to Mitlung (921 m) Trek 6 hours to Mitlung.

Day 8Mitlung to Tapethok (1290 meters) It is nearly 6 hours walk to Tapethok.

Day 9Tapethok to Amjilosa (2490 m) Trek 9 hours to Amjilosa.

Day 10Amjilosa to Gyabla (2730 m)

Day 11Gyable to Ghunsa (3430 m)

Day 12Ghunsa acclimatize day Rest day for acclimatization in Ghunsa: climb to Yamatari Dudhpokhari glacier (4315 m) that takes 6 hours walk.

Day 13Trek to Kambachen (4040 m)

Day 14Trek to Ramtang (4525 m) The most impressive mountain giant is from here good seeing Jannu or Khumbakarna (7710 m) with its enormous summit, is strongly reminiscent of a seated Nepalis of his with the typical nepali hat covered head on his left arm

Day 15Trek to Pangpema/ North Base Camp (5065 m)

Day 16PangpemaRest day or trip over the Corner Camp (5170 m) to Glacier Camp I (5270 m) and back to Base Camp Pang Pema with great views of the nearby six-, seven-and eight-thousand peaks. It is about 5 hours climbing hiking.

Day 17Pang PemaEarly morning optional ascent to Drohma Spur (5870 m) for excellent views of the Kanchenjunga massif north of Pang Pema and return to Base Camp.

Day 18Trek to Ghunsa (3430 m) via Lhonak (4700 m)

Day 19Trek to Sele la base camp (4600 m) via Tama La Pass (3940 m) and the Sele La Pass (4170 m)

Day 20Trek to Tseram (3870 m)

Day 21Trek to Ramche (4450 m)/ Oktang (4730 m)

Day 22Trek to Bokta Base Camp (5123 m).Trek to Bokta base camp. We can see fabulous panoramic views of the entire Kanchenjunga massif from the south.
