Chekigo Peak Base Camp Trek
About Trip -
Chekigo Peak (6143m) Base Camp Trek is in the Gaurishankar mountain region, known as Rolwaling. The first summit of Chekigo Peak was climbed by Bruce Normand from UK and Oliver Rotz from Switzerland via the west face on 15th May 2005. The region is easily accessible from Kathmandu by road. Then trek with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition through mountain terrain, visiting different ethnics’ people and some religious sites like Biju gompa and Kalinchok. A himalayan journey from greenery to the glacier is an awesome climbing in Nepal. Be on the Chekigo Peak Summit and views other mountain peak includes Lantang Gaurishankar, Ganesh Himal, Shishapanga, Dorjee Lakpa and Jugal Himal.
Outline Itinerary -
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative from Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition then transfer to hotel.
Day 02:After breakfast, proceed to sighseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu preparation for the trek.
Day 03:Drive to Shingati (950m).
Day 04:Trek to Jagat (1150m).
Day 05:Trek to Simigaun (1990m).
Day 06:Trek to Gyalche (2990m).
Day 07:Trek to Beding (3690m).
Day 08:Rest in Beding for Acclimatization
Day 09:Trek to Chekigo base camp and trek back to Beding.
Day 10:Trek to Simigaon.
Day 11:Trek to Jagat
Day 12:Trek to Shingati
Day 13:Drive to Kathmandu.
Day 14:In Kathmandu
