Very soft and famous  adventure trek in Nepal's middle hills, with the awesome backdrop of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri Range. 

Ghorepani Poonhill trek is well suited for the beginners or for those who have limited time but still want to experience a real Moutain. The trek starts from Nayapul after a short drive from Pokhara.Ghorepani Poonhill Trek's trail passes through rhododendron forest and fascinating traditional Magar and Gurung villages at Ghorepani and Ghandruk; a nice opportunity to witness the culture and tradition of Nepalese countryside. Along the way, there are spectacular views of the snowy peaks of the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Nilgiri, Machhapuchhre capped off by the unforgettable mountain panorama from Poon Hill.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu./Kathmandu tour will depend on your time./overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02:AM: Proceed for sightseeing tour to Kathmandu city visiting, the ancient palace square also known as the Durbar Square where you will witness the ancient palaces and the temples, Kasthmandap temple made out of a single tree during ancient age, temple of the living goddesses the Kumari, etc. Later, proceed towards Swoyambhunath stupa, one of the Buddhist shrine and also known as the monkey temple situated on the hillock towards the west of Kathmandu and overlooking the Kathmandu valley. Unlike other stupas, this stupa has got a spiral shape which has typical significance. PM: Proceed on to another city of the valley called Patan city which is also known as the city of fine arts where one can witness splendid artifacts of the medieval period. Afterwards, drive back to the Hotel and rest of the evening will be at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 03:AM: Proceed on sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath temple, the holiest shrine of the Hindu people where the non Hindu people are not allowed to get inside the temple and they are allowed to witness the temple from the view point, situated on the opposite side of the main temple. Later, proceed to Boudhnath stupa, the Buddhist pilgrimage and biggest of it’s kind in Asia. PM: Proceed on sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur city, also known BHADGAON and the city of devotees. It is the third major city of Kathmandu valley and in many ways the most medieval city. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 04:Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. . Afternoon Pokhara valley sightseeing.

Day 05:Trek to Birethanti [1075m]

Day 06:Trek to Ghandruk [1940m]

Day 07:Trek to Tadapani [2540]

Day 08:Trek to Ghorepani [2880m]

Day 09:Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara

Day 10:Pokhara sightseeing. overnight at Pokhara.

Day 11:Fly Back or drive back to Kathmandu. Shopping at Kathmandu/Souvenir from Nepal.Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 12:Fly back to your destination.

Day 4Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. . Afternoon Pokhara valley sightseeing.

Day 5Trek to Birethanti [1075m] We take a one-hour leisure drive to Naya Pool from Pokhara, along the graceful Modi Khola Valley. On reaching our destination, we begin our highly panoramic Annapurna trek. The route skirts through lush forest leading finally to Birethanti after walking for one hour.

Day 6Trek to Ghandruk [1940m] Leaving Birethani, we trail along terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges. On passing a succession of flatlands, forest, cultivated lands and a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, we arrive at the beautiful village of Ghandruk after walking for 3 to 4 hours. An ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.

Day 7Trek to Tadapani [2540] We descend further along the trail showcasing rich rhododendron forests, gloriously cascading sparkling mountain streams and other mystical vistas of nature. After continuously climbing for 3 hours, we step on the territory of Tadapani at an altitude of 2540 meters. Tadapani offers the most magnificent mountain views of the overpowering peaks of Annapurna South. [Walk approx 3 hours].

Day 8Trek to Ghorepani [2880m] From Tadapani, you proceed further along steep trails. Nature spreads exotic sight of majestic snow-capped mountain peaks, lush vegetation and rich plant life before you. You climb through rhododendron forest to Deorali [3100m] and reach a hamlet and cultivated fields. Continue walking for 3 hours and finally you will find yourself in Ghorepani. Ghorepani also houses lodges to provide food and accommodation to travelers.

Day 9Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara After savoring the mesmerizing sight of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak and other Himalayan giants from the popular vantage point of Poon Hill [3195m], you leave Ghorepani and march ahead for Nayapul. On your trails of stone steps, you pass through dense forest and a small village of Ulleri. From Ulleri, a very steep section [with 3767 steps]] leads down to Hille on the Bhurungdi Khola. Forty minutes beyond Birethanti, you come to the main road and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 10Pokhara sightseeing. overnight at Pokhara.

Day 11Fly Back or drive back to Kathmandu. Shopping at Kathmandu/Souvenir from Nepal.Overnight at Kathmandu.
