About Trip -

Himlung Himal is one of the recently opened peaks for climbing and is located between Manaslu and Annapurna ranges.Himlung Himal expedition with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition takes you through remote villages of Nepal and Tibet border. Passing through two interesting Tibetian villages of Nar and Phu. Base camp will be established at the height of 4900m. which is located at the upper border of one of pastures belong to Phu. Normally three high camps will be established to reach the Summit. Camp I at the height of 5450m, Camp II at 6000m and Camp III at 6350m.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour.

Day 03:Kathmandu for official permit procedures

Day 04:Drive from Kathmandu to Beshishar- Bulbule ( 840m-2755ft)

Day 05:Trek to Syanje (1100m-3608ft)

Day 06:Trek to Tal (1700m-5576ft)

Day 07:Trek to Danakyu ( 2300m-7544ft)

Day 08:Trek to Koto ( 2600m-8528ft)

Day 09:Dharamsala (3230m-10,594ft)

Day 10:Trek to Kyang ( 3820m-12,530ft)

Day 11:Trek to Phu Gaun ( 4080m-13,382ft)

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour.After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit to Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu durbar square tour.

Boudhanath stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries. Pashipatinath temple is the most famous Hindu temple in Asia, located in the banks of Bagmati river where men are meditating, pilgrims are bathing and occasionally funeral pyres means dead body are burning/cremating on the ghats. Then come back to hotel and introduction meeting with your guide in the afternoon. You can ask any questions regard the trekking and climbing with your guide on this group meeting and the final preparations for the trip.
