About Trip -

Pakhalde Peak Climbing forms part of the Khumbu Himal in Nepal and although dwarfed by the bulk of Lhotse it is nevertheless an interesting mountain. First ascent was in 1953 by Noyce, Bourdillon, Ward and Sherpas via the North ridge as part of preparations for the British expedition that year. Pokhalde is good to climb in the snowy season and therefore better to climb in autumn than spring.

Pakhalde Peak (5806m) Climbing with Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition provide you to explore and experienced the Sherpa local culture in Khumbu Valley of Everest region. It is advanced form of Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar Trek.

Outline Itinerary -

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour

Day 03:Fly to Lukla flight and Trek to Phakding from Lukla.

Day 04:Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding (3440 m).

Day 05:Rest and acclimatisation day.

Day 06:Trek to Tengboche (3867m).

Day 07:Trek to Pheriche (4252m).

Day 08:Pheriche rest and acclimatisation day.

Day 09:Trek to Lobuche (4910m).

Day 10:Climb Kala Patthar (5545m) then return trek to Lobuche.

Day 11:Trek to Kongma La.

Day 12:Trek to Pokhalde Base Camp +/- (5300m).

Day 13:Summit day (5806m) then back to Base Camp.

Day 14:Trek to Tengboche.

Day 15:Trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 16:Trek to Lukla

Day 17:Fly to Kathmandu.

Day 18:Fly out.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu International airport and meet with representative of Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition, then transfer to hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu (1350m) sightseeing tour After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing tour to heritage sites of Kathmandu. Visit to Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu durbar square tour.

Day 3Fly to Lukla flight and Trek to Phakding from Lukla. Get 30min flight to Lukla and start trekking following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi. On the way trekking, we can see Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kang (6367m) and stop for lunch at Ghat and then continue trek to Phakding. This is an easy trekking today on well trekking trail, gradually up hill and downhill equal to flat trekking path.

Day 4Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding (3440 m). Phakding Namche Bazzar hiking is tougher than Lukla Phakding walking. The first part of the trek is less ups and downs to Lunch spot. Then the second part of trekking is tougher than first part. It is a 3 hours steep uphill trekking to Namche bazzar is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and opens out only where it faces the Bhote Koshi. The village is a central hub of Khumbu where you will have nice food, accommodation and trekking climbing equipment with internet café and bank.

Day 5Rest and acclimatisation day.

Day 6Trek to Tengboche (3867m).

Day 7Trek to Pheriche (4252m).

Day 8Pheriche rest and acclimatisation day.

Day 9Trek to Lobuche (4910m).

Day 10Climb Kala Patthar (5545m) then return trek to Lobuche.

Day 11Trek to Kongma La.

Day 12Trek to Pokhalde Base Camp +/- (5300m).

Day 13Summit day (5806m) then back to Base Camp.

Day 14Trek to Tengboche.

Day 15Trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 16Trek to Lukla

Day 17Fly to Kathmandu. You can extend your trip in Nepal to explore the Jungle safari in Chitwan National park or Buddhist Pilgrimage trip to Lumbini, Birthland of Buddha or other part of Nepal's Trip or Can take your Flight to your destination.

Day 18Fly out.Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition's representative will drop you at airport before Three hours of your flight schedule.
