We Provide Financial Protection

Going on any adventure trip will require a substantial sum of money to be paid in advance. Yet, trusting a company you have no prior experience with involves risk. However, we are a fully-bonded trek operator authorized by the Nepal Government, Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, Nepal Tourism Board, Industry Department, Company Registration Office, Nepal National Bank and the Taxation Office. We are also affiliated with several prestigious regulating bodies such as Nepal Association for Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP).

- Our crew members have successfully operated tours for over 50 people to Everest Base Camp and we also have special provisions for infants (below 5 years) as well as elderly people who want to undertake adventure expeditions.

Responsible Tourism

In order to practice responsible tourism, our company is guided by the motto ‘Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints’. We design our itineraries and operate in the field guided by the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism. Furthermore, all our staff have been given environmental training and are very sensitive to the delicate eco-systems we enter. In addition, we have a history of committing ourselves to the safety and enjoyment of our clients and maintaining high ethical standards in all our operations. We have proudly participated in the Dhaulagiri Base Camp Clean-Up Campaign in which we removed 33,000 kilograms of tin, glass, batteries and cylinders from the area, and the Annapurna (Ghandruk-Ghorepani) Clean-Up Campaign (27thFeb to 10thMarch, 2004). Similarly, we have also conducted numerous specialized adventure and tour activities such as charity treks, fund raising treks, treks for school students, corporate adventure activities, and others.

Unique pension fund for staffs

Pink Mountain Treks and Expedition has a full insurance policy for all our field workers: trekking guides, mountain climbers, porters et cetera. This unique insurance coverage includes all costs of health cure if injured or sick and serves as a pension fund if any employee is physically disabled and cannot continue on their jobs for the company. This provision is of pension fund is solely enjoyed by the employees for Nepal government.

Any expedition heavily rely on the use of proper equipment. All our equipment are regularly checked and kept in a perfect condition. We continuously invest in the best possible equipment for all staff as these relate to their safety and also ensure the same with our guests.
